Hello, here are 2 pictures of a nephrurus levis levis "striped" with a nice deep reddish color.
it´s just a younger male, so the red can just increase more, i hope.
enjoy the pictures.
regards stefan

Thank you all for the kind words, it´s a great feeling that you like it.
about the genetics of the striped form. I was told it must be co-dom, but i will find it out myself hopefully later this year.
i will keep you updatet on that for sure.

to Azazel:
my equipment is a sony dsc r1 camera with the original macro lense.

Nice!

The "striped" form in N. levis levis is genetically recessive (unless this is a different unrelated line to the ones available in the US)

I purchased some about 5 years ago from the originator of the "striped line". At the time, they were marketed AND sold as "co-dom" but neither I, nor any other person who has produced them have found that to be true.

Just looked at my old emails, I purchased striped levis in the spring of 2004 from Tribal Reptiles (no longer in business I believe). What bloodlines/who produced your striped?

The line I worked with are NOT co-dom, but proven simple recessive! Hope that information helps!
