Not a fur ball

Okay here we have a cool little one from last night. What do you say? Normal or chubby ;)
But she is a nova is looks awsome from pattern.

I will go along with your judgement call of Nova/het chubby because you seem to know your "POO" about geckos. Definitely not a fur ball morph.
Take care, "Oh maker of fine geckos." HJ

I know this sounds a bit crazy, and I honestly hope no one takes offense to this, but does the little one not appear to have a down syndrome look about her?

I'm not sure of how the chromosomes work in leopard geckos, but could it possible have an extra one?

I think that it would be interesting to do some research on that.

None the less, it's a very good looking gecko! I wouldn't mind having it as a pet for sure!

And again, I'm sorry if anyone took offense.

Maybe Dwarf??

So you think maybe she is a dwarf? She kind of looks like one, but at the same time, kind of doesn't.. maybe HJ can post pics of his Dwarf girl as a hatchling.
edit: based on those updated pics, I don't think she looks like a Dwarf anymore

Dwarf Comments: IMO...I think she looks like a "Tiny"
and not a dwarf..........BUT:

Question of being a dwarf may need a few weeks to answer for sure........
As it starts eating you will notice if the body rounds or lengthens.
And more apt to see if a skeletal defect.
I have photos of 4 or 5 different dwarfs.....(won't post)
all have a body to tail ratio difference very noticeable
and a skeletal high at body end/ tail start position.
Take care. HJ

THX HJ I will do update picks in 2 weeks so we see more pattern :)

@Caryn I dunno if this could be I just know she doesn´t look normal but as she still is one of the fastest hatchlings I ever had she will have a good life I´m sure ;-)
And no offense taken or so ;-)

@HJ this is for sure not spiderlike more like a chubby one^^
The top left gecko is a MST I once had she was named grannygecko cause she always was vry chubby this petgecko could be the way the small one could look like in the future

I was kind of thinking along the same lines, but I didn't want to voice my opinion. But all of the babies are very pretty, as usual!:main_thumbsup:

Yeah, I was taking a chance with that one. But like I said, it's a very good looking baby, and I wouldn't mind having it as a pet, cause it's gorgeous! :main_yes:

I would agree it dosent look like a enigma. but nice ( chubbyness ) might be from the "sand" you keep them on ?

Okay after talking with a friend cause I was not sure if you meant what I thought you meant I know undertood haha

First of all I never had problems with sand I raised 4 geckos from baby to adult on sand never had any problems maybe cause I had luck I dunno.
I changed my substrat a long while ago cause their surely is a risk they can get impacted and why take a risk(even thought I never had a Problem).

As said I no longer have sand in use besides Nephrurus geckos for example.

But sand was not fault for the old gecko beeing chubby she was always like that and matured on papertowel in the USA at a US breeder, I got her adult.

I whish I had a better picture left of her cause she was what the little rers could look like when adult :)

So sand wasn´t fault + I dunno how sand can make a gecko chubby :D
