New baby won't eat

A few weeks ago I got a new baby raptor. She's around 10-12 grams. I have her on tile in an aquarium with a good temp gradient and everything. the only problem is that she won't eat. I've seen her eat a few mealworms since we got her, and we've tried crickets. She's a bit sluggish, but not completely limp or anything. She's pretty small, and not old enough to start ovulating yet. I'm worried.

try some slurry and soak her....

ours was eating about 10 crickets a night at this size.

95 on the hot side and around 85 on the cool side. She never goes to the cool side, she always just lays in the warm hide.

Well from what reading I have done on here... that could indicate that she is in pain.....

Do you have a vet you can call?

I'm probably going to end up calling the vet on Monday when they're open again. I have literally $20 in my account, so that should be interesting.

I hear you. you might see if they have a Care Credit (credit card) available. They are usually interest free for a year..and you can just make payments till the account is paid off.

My leo loves caicium, so what I do when I hand feed her, I take my super worm, hold it really tight in the middle of it body where its head is pointing toward my wrist, & dip its tail in calcium. Then I touch it to Kirsa's nose so she'll start to lick it. After she licks some of the calcium, she just grabs hold of the worm & chugs it down. I can get her to eat all the time like this, it has never failed for me, except when she's finally full, she eats like there's no tomorrow, lol. Anyways, try this, maybe it will help, hope your little one starts to get better, good luck with her/him.

I tried the calcium thing, and I actually got her to eat one! But then she went and laid down again, silly thing. I have a vet appointment in a few hours, so we'll see if he can find anything out.
