Just a tip - get off the baby food right away. Don't even use it. If you're feeding this even just "until the repashy gets there," chances are your gecko is going to get hooked on it (even with less sugar), and have trouble adjusting to the CGD.

A few more plants or vines in the tank would be a wise choice, but you're off to a good start. Also consider adding a hiding place. A favorite of all 5 of my cresties are the Magnaturals hides that stick to the side of the terrarium (here). It's where they go when they go to sleep, functioning as bedrooms sorta, I guess haha.

yea i wasn't too keen on the baby food either but i had to feed her something, she loves the dusted crickets though. when my big cage gets here im going to add more cover and what not. plus in the spring and summer i work in the greenery industry so i have access to all sorts of live plants.

I have 6 of the Zilla Atriums and I love them. They're pretty much the perfect size for cresties, light weight and a good price. The only complaint I have is getting the plastic off of them when they come is a pain in the a$$. A tip for doing that: I used a razor blade along the edges VERY lightly and then pulled the entire sheet off of each side. Worked well.

haha poor gecko.
i was handling mine today and she is always a little hesitant to walk onto my hand but once she does she sits there for a sec, warms up and then she scoots. she's all over my arm. when i put my hand with her on it back in the cage, she looks around the runs back up my arm haha. takes a few tries before she climbs back into the tree.

i got my R-zilla acrylic terrarium today. it went together real easy with a dewalt, only thing is that a couple holes didn't line up but the screw+dewalt made a new hole just fine. its a pretty good size and holds eco-earth substrate just fine. im happy with it :main_thumbsup:

I actually just purchased the atrium complete setup with free gecko from pangea and was wondering about the Eco earth staying in. How deep do you have your Eco earth? I thought of eventually doing a planted tank with the atrium so I was just wondering, mine should be here tomorrow, I also thought of sealing of the bottom screen piece with a acrylic piece if I needed to
