So I finally caught Keith at a weak moment and he agreed to let us have another Ferret. Meet Auto, he's 4 months old and a total sweetheart!

I let them out to play after I took gecko pictures and I guess they wanted in on the lightbox action. LOL

So far so good! I was a little worried because she's been an "only" for a long time but he's very polite and well mannered so I thing they'll end up being great friends. She hasn't had an problems with sharing yet but he hasn't really been pushing her boundaries either.

Very Cool. Looks Awesome. I am happy for you guys. I have been wanting a ferret for ever probable seance I was little and saw that movie the Beast Master. Done lots of research and read up on them, but any personal first hand insight or pointers for a highly likely future ferret owner:D.

Baby ferrets!!! I have three geriatric ferrets, and it seems like yesterday they were kits...

They will be inseperable in no time. Ferrets are extremely codependent. As long as there's no blood, it's good for 'em...congrats, "Auto" is adorable! And I LOVE the name "Noodle". I once had a ferret named "Worm". :)

I'm watching Auto eat right now. I mixed him up some kibble/water/broth gruel to be easier to digest while he's settling in. Oh, and I rechecked my mental math...he's 3 months old!

Zach, you should definitely get a Ferret. They make great pets! Maybe not the best pet for someone who is OCD about cleaning and order though as they do like to re-arrange things. Noodle has always been really well behaved, she's not destructive and she doesn't chew or steal things. If you don't already have a sense of humor you'll get one fast with a Ferret! When we're in the gecko room (which is a lot, LOL) we shut the door and let the Ferrets have free run of the room. They get plenty of exercise and interaction and we can clean tubs at the same time. It works out great. Really just do some research about food and decide what diet to go with and they'll train you on everything else! It only takes one party in a potted plant to remind you that Ferrets + potting soil = huge mess.

Maia, do you know of any good Ferret Forums?
