I was so desperate waiting for them that today at 64 days one finally hatched. She is from an Afghan Halloween Bold Stripe cross (from Eric) x Halloween Bold Stripe cross. She is so chubby that I was concern about her look but after looking to others fat hatchling's pictures I just though that she is fine and healthy.

Here is an update of the first hatchling of this season!!! After taking the pictures I realized that she had a stuck shed on her toe, so I already took care of it. I also noticed that she is getting long and I think is due her dad (95g , 10.75 inches)

I know that these are not geckos or reptiles but I also have another hobby!!!! Reef Tanks. I bough these 2 Snowflakes Clown Fish at a frag swap (like an expo, show) both for $50. That was a deal considering that they go close to $90 each one.

Pretty babes! The fatter, the better :main_laugh:

Nice clown fish, too!!! I also have two aquariums, but I refrain from buying very expensive fish--my family always has had discus, and it's sooo sad when a 100-Euro fish dies... What's more, they "grief" if their partner dies, so one loses two at the same time, although one was completely healthy.... Geckos are more robust and live longer :D

Thanks to everybody!!!! The funny thing is that before she hatched I was suspecting that she will be a banded. When I candled the egg 2 days ago I could see inside some bands and her clutch mate I think she will banded also. Have any here have had the same experience?

I like your fat little baby:) But I LOVE your fancy little clown fish! I have a planted freshwater tank, but have always dreamed of saltwater, and have done tons of reading, but I mut admit...I have NEVER come across clown fish that look like that! They are amazing, what a great deal you got too! Beautiful! Why dont you post some pix of your tanks in the fish section? Id love to see them!

Yes, you can see the bands developing in the last week if you candle.
I try not to touch my eggs anymore, though. Usually succeed, but if they're running late, the temptation does get awful.

Nice babies! And those are some great looking clowns! We have a 29 g BioCube, and our local store has had them on sale for $50 and $60 and have been tempted to get one since our anemone is lonely now, but we already have 5 fish!

From what area you are? If you are close to the midwest I can give you the info of the breeder. He have other morphs for nice price. He breeds picassos, platinums, black and whites basically everything.
