Hey my names Nick and I'm new here. I'm a student in highschool and I enjoy keeping reptiles. Starting in 5th grade a grew an interest in leopard geckos, by the end of 6th grade my collection grew incrediably and I started breeding them. By 8th grade I was specializing in breeding SHTCT Leos, amel AFT's, and viper geckos. Due to sports however I had to downgrade my collection of geckos and other herps and stoped breeding them. now that I'm older however, only play sports for the highschool instead of many different teams, and have spare time I'm thinking about getting into the hobby again. I figured I'd start by showing off the Leos I already have. Any suggestions are wellcome, enjoy!

Fist is Jaz, my 3yr old 67gram female high yellow

Next is Jackie, my 3yr old 54 gram "Tremper?" albino.
Her and Jaz are both recuses and also the only remaing geckos from my original collection. I'm not sure if shes tremper but I believe she is, I was never good at telling the albinos apart.

Finally theres my 30 gram male patternless I've had since the summer and my most recent gecko Blaze a RAPTOR I managed to get a good deal on and has been with me for less than a week.

Jackie is indeed a Tremper.

Watch for those bad sheds, and get retained skin off the toes just as soon as you notice it. That patternless is already missing lotsa toes. :main_yes:

Looking good. Are the eyelids of that Raptor ok?

The eyelids are ok, When I got him/her they told me they are a little disformed due to inbreeding but out breeding should get rid of it in her/his offspring if I breed him/her.

And I'm sorry about how they look. Jackie and Jaz were both rescues orginally and Jackie was in really bad shape. She was 30grams under weight, missing toes, stuck shed every where, and had lays of shed skins stuck on her head, and a regenerated tail (apparently Jaz thought her tail was tastey when they were both babies). I had to work really hard to fatten her up and get her back in shape. For awhile I thought she was blind becayse her eyes were covered in skin for so long and her eyes were cloudy and amlost always closed once we fixed that. Then one day she got real perky and her eyes cleared up, so apparently i gave sight to the blind lol. She may not be to pretty but she went through a lot in the past and its left her scarred up a bit.

the patternless on the other hand since I've got him has been a horrible shedder. He completely refused to use his humid hide no matter what I do. Its not so bad now that hes bigger and more laid back because I can get the skin off his toes and tail with out much fuss. When he was little though it was horrible because he was little, fast, jumpy, and would squirm and scream when I tried to get the skin off his toes, plus the fact he was so tiny I was affraid of hurting him.

They otherwise look very healthy, Nick. The way it sounds, you've had lots of hard work with them. But given the circumstances, I'd say you've done a Great Job! The shed comments were just a friendly tip, nothing more. :main_yes:

Oh don't worry I didn't take it as an offence, I just didn't want everyone on here to think I haven't been taken care of them properly. Probably an over reaction on my part but I just acre for all my herps to much and I'm always worried about their health and stuff. lol

Cool geckos, the eyelids of your RAPTOR are deformed and most of them are missing toes due to shedding issues. Just make sure you have humid hides in all the tanks.

Welcome to GF! Glad to see that they are doing well. And it looks to me as well that that is a Tremper.
