hi all iam new to this iam going to get my first crested gecko soon when got the tank finished will be nice to know what to look for and best to get it, any help will be great full

What size cage do you have (or are you needing to get that too)? Some people go with paper towels and fake plants and others go with some kind of dirt-looking substrate and real plants. I recommend you google "crested gecko cages" and look at pictures of what people have done. Some of them are very fancy but it doesn't have to be that fancy. Let me know if you want to go with the paper towel look or the "bioactive" (real plants etc.) look after you've checked out some cages and I'll provide more specific advice.
