Heyo! Its my first time owning a leopard gecko, but im not sure if a heat pad would be good or a heat bulb. Ive done lots of research and gotten alot of answers.. should I leave the heat bulb on at night or turn it off? Or should I have a heat pad and leave that on all day instead of the heatbulb?

It's good for the gecko to have heat all the time, though some people are now using a special bulb for nocturnal geckos during the day (check out arcadiareptile.com and read about lighting). I have found that using a heat pad only works well. A heat pad plus a heat lamp in my opinion makes the air too hot and dry. If you get a heat pad, get a thermostat as well and set it for 90F
