I got this guy (for free!) as an adoption from someone who is moving out of town. Such a steal, he's awesome.

The second gecko is my Mack Snow Eclipse. I'm hoping they produce some nice geckos next season.

Does anyone think he could be a 0% Eclipse (faded)? His eyes don't look "normal" to me, and his nose is white as can be.

I don't see an eclipse. From what I understand, eclipse geckos have either partial or complete eclipse eyes.

That was also my understanding, until reading this thread and looking a lot more closely at different Mack/Tremper/Tang/Eclipse pictures posted on here.

Okay, you definately got me with that one.

I am compleatly confused after reading that thread.

Maybe Tony or Travis will comment on this thread. Those two would be the best sources of info you can get, IMO.

The Eclipse gene is extremely variable, some have zero "eclipsing", some are 100%, and any where in between. The first gecko does not look like an Eclipse. The Eclipses with no eclipsing have lighter eye color than normal geckos, at least everyone I've seen does.

Nice snows. I've seen some 0% eclipses too. Though I'm not 100% sold that a white nose always equals a homozygous eclipse. Only way to be sure will be to prove that gecko out. If you hatch all eclipse babies, he's a 0%.
