Awesome, awesome, awesome! :D A big thank you to Alan of JungleHabitatsPlastics.com

Received the base for my five stack and an extra one to top it off...

Then of course there are my 15qt gecko racks (which are currently houseing both sub-adult cornsnakes & geckos)...

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this rack design! It's allowing the light in that I needed for my geckos and looks amazing!

Looks like I'm going to need to add a fourth 15qt to my order. Silly me ordered another 8 beautiful geckos. :D Then I think I might just need to make the 6th 4 footer another boa stack, because I'm too short to see into it! Thank goodness for tax season! :main_thumbsup:

So everything's installed and ready to go? I see where they're made from pvc. I think I heard against that somewhere... Are they really good racks? I'm ready to spend the money, the Lord knows I've already started. I just don't want to spend it and end up regreting it. Thinking, I should have spend more for something better. Or whatever... Are the cables hidden or visible? I'm also concerned about that. I'm also looking at the animal plastics cage which is similar but with an open back, and I'm worried the cables will show.

Yes, everything's installed and ready to go. No cable is used in them, I use heat tape. I haven't a clue why someone would be negative on PVC. As long as it isn't the cheap kind (which will bow), it's much easier to clean and looks more professional then anything else. I wouldn't spend the money I am with Alan ($2.2k) unless I was extremely pleased with the product.

IMO, the open back design of AP will cause the loss of heat, which is why I had asked Alan to design close backed ones.

I mean with the heat tape, plugging into the thermostat. that cord. But, ok. I'll take your word and go for it. Thanks.

Oh, Are they installed with back or belly heat?

Back. Belly heat in small tubs like 15qt is overboard, IMO.

No it doesn't affect their digestion.

No, he will send an invoice via Google Checkout because he does not use Paypal anymore.
