Ok well earlier this week I got my first leo, and I am in love with him.
I named him Jolt, And he seem sot be adjusting quite nicely.
I just want to find out if I'm setting everything up correctly.
And if he looks healthy...Oh! and if someone could tell me about how old he seems to be that'd be amazing! :3 I'm using a clamp on light 40 watt light at night ( mainly so i can see him ) & A UTH pad during the day. (without clamp on light light)
And digi thermometers on both warm and cold side.
He seems to like this moss (shown below) Someone had told me its bad for them but I don't see how it is. I keep the moss moist for him to cool off and for later when he sheds.
Right now his diet is Mealworm, small crickets & Waxworms (only fed him one wax worm thus far. I should a mentioned this earlier I'm not !00% on his morph yet could someone tell me? His hot side temp during the day is about I wanna say like 92f on the hot side & around 74 or so on the cold side.

I mix the calcium with all of is food I wasn't sure if i should mix it separate or not. Could this have an negative effects?

Sorry for all of you who read all of this, I just want to make sure I get this down perfectly :3

And I'm going to hope you guys have the forum set up to automatically resize large images if not I'll fix them in a few.

I'd say that Jolt is probably a one month old High Yellow.

Dusting the feeders is fine but it's also a good idea to leave a small dish with plain calcium in the tank for his at all times. Leopard geckos will actually eat it straight from a juice lid or other small dish. You can also dust his feeders once a week with a multivitamin powder.

You need to get his warm side a little warmer. Ideally there should be more of a temperature difference between each end of the tank (low 90's on the warm end and mid 70's on the cool side). You can get a rheostat which it basically just a dimmer switch that the UTH plugs into and allows you to control the temperature.
