New to reptiles

Hello everyone,
My name is Dave. I am just getting into the hobby, funny reason why. I am from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. On November 6th they are having the reptile expo near my work, so I am going to go with my wife and look into purchasing a juvenile leopard gecko. I already have the enclosure set up, so it is just pick the lizard that I like the most and start to enjoy.

The reptile expo is a great idea. Look for vendors that have their geckos in individual deli cups as opposed to vendors that have a cage with lots of tiny leopard geckos. The vendor should know the genetics of the geckos they're selling and should be willing to share information about any gecko you're interested in. Good luck.
