Hi! I'm James. Back in November I picked up a baby Leopard Gecko on impulse while buying a Scorpion (P. Imperator). Well now a few months later its grown, and my interest has grown with him. Problem is.. I'm not so good with this morph identification stuff.

So here is my first, River. He's around 35 grams, I tried to get info on his heritage from the person I bought him from but they had no idea unfortunately, so I don't know if it has any Het (I think?) traits.

And this one I'm picking up next month on April 23rd at a Reptile Expo the next town over. I was told she is a SSE? I'm planning on asking for more info when I pick her up next month.

Anyways, thanks for looking and any input! :)

Welcome to GF! I would call your current leopard gecko a "high yellow" (meaning, essentially a normal with somewhat reduced black spotting). Of course, there's no way to know whether or not she has any gets visually. The new one looks like an albino super snow. I don't know whether it's an eclipse, and can't really tell from the picture whether or not it has the eclipse white note, tail tip and feet. ALl super snows, eclipse or non-eclipse, have solid black (or red) eyes.

I would call the first one a normal with unknown hets.

I agree that the second one might be albino, but that just might be the lighting and the color might be black. It also doesn't look like an eclipse to me. I would definitely ask more questions before buying it. A super snow eclipse will have quite a few white markings and should have a white nose. Maybe it's the picture, but the nose on that one looks very short. Even shorter than the normal super snow noses.
