I have been meaning to make a post on here about our new Leopard Tortoise. "Her" name is Petunia. She is about 4 months old. We have had her for just a little over 2 weeks now. She is a very cute pig. :D

Here are a couple of pictures of her.

The bad news as of this morning is that this morning when I went to soak her I noticed that she had prolapsed. We have a appointment scheduled with our vet Dr. Ken Harkewicz at 7:20am tomorrow.. Before I go to work. She is soaking in sugar water right now. Which is supposed to help with swelling.. supposedly. Anyways, Wish us luck tomorrow morning. Hopefully all goes well. I have become REALLY attached to her in a very short time.

After soaking her in the sugar water for over 14 hours.. Her prolapse went away. I cancelled the vet appointment for this morning. Hopefully it doesn't come back. :)

Seriously, you should just get like 1-2 more unrelateds and raise them up with her. It doesn't take much more work to keep another one or two and they'll mature at the same time.
