I have been needing an updated website for a long time. I built my site several years ago using MS FrontPage and a book, and it doesn't look good on all browsers... not to mention it is H-U-G-E!

So, here is the basic new website design. Please take a look at it and give me some feedback on what you like and any suggestions for changes or improvements. (For example, I'm not too crazy about all the top-site buttons being right next to each other on the bottom of the home page. I also am wondering if the main text is too monochromatic with the titles, and maybe needs to be a lighter yellow/gold color like in my banner).

Very nice Marcia! It's a lot more dynamic. If you don't like all the top site buttons right next to each other you can add a few pixels of cell padding to the table. It will stretch the table out. It will also stretch the main table so you might have to create a second row.

Personally I like the monochromatic colors of the text and navigation bar. It creates better unity. One suggestion... I would make the top navigation bar the same size as the one at the bottom of the page. I think it would be better visually especially for the users that have high screen resolutions.

Web design can take a lot of time so nice job Marcia! :main_thumbsup:

I like it a lot. I like the way it looks and feels like your old site but looks new and fresh. We are working on our new site should be up and running shortly.

I like it, Marcia. It's reminiscent of your old site but with a fresher, more modern look to it. I'm jealous :) I need someone to do that to my site.

I do agree with what Cody said here. I just didn't know what it was called.

Well, I am having a lot of trouble with the company who helped me design this website. I was told that it would work for my application, but it is not! They are refusing to fix the problems because I signed off on the design, and basically telling me I am SOL. They are even charging me to host the website for the past 2 months even though the site is not 'live' yet!!!

There is a Web Editor Control Panel that I am trying to use to get all the photos posted for the 'available' pages, and whenever I hit the 'save' button, it doesn't save it the way I edited it. Also, it doesn't look the same in MSIE and FireFox browsers, and I was assured by the designer it would work. I had 2 people from here at GF take a look at the code, and one of them found a problem that I got fixed.

I am so frustrated I could scream.
