I've missed having a bird in the house and have been wanting to get another conure for some time. I found a local breeder of Sun Conures and fell in love with this little one. He/She/It needs to have a DNA test to determine sex still so until then it's name is baby. Just under 3 months old and sweet as can be. I had a hard time getting him to go into his cage for a nap, he didn't want to leave his new mommy.

Thank you Marcia & Nancy!!

I just got an e-mail from the breeder, he sent me the pics he took of Zach and the other two Suns we were looking at. Baby is the one in the middle.

I had all three of them on me most of the time, they wouldn't leave me. Every time I went to put two of them down to look at each one at a time they climbed/flew back on my hand. I guess they were just loving all the attention. Baby as you see has the most orange.

we had those where i used to work, and everyone loved him. we named him batman because he'd dance to the batman theme. other people called him satan and various other names... he liked to steal my jewelry. :-( popped out the balls in my cbr's; it took me a half an hour to put them in and it took him like 2 minutes to take them out.

Ya but I don't think Layla plays well with others....she hates Lilo. Well baby Lilo thinks Layla is a toy.. so I don't blame her. :)

Awesome little one! I love the beauty of birds, particularly parrots. However, the noise and the mess deters me. Although eventually in the far off future I may have to get a pair of Lovebirds, (my favorite ;))

Derek, yeah parrots can be quite demanding of attention. But I seem to have a lot of sitting time avaible, working on paperwork and such. Baby seems content to set with me and really dosn't make too much noise YET!! I'm sure once he/she realizes how much noise he/she can make that will change.

How pretty! Sounds like things are looking up. I'm so happy for you. I like birds, but they don't like me. I haven't met a bird yet that didn't bite me. Maybe I smell like bird food.

Sun conures are sooo pretty. My personal weakness, though, is for parrotlets. Adorable, quiet, and personality packed! I'd love to own one of those someday! :)
