Night bulb

I bet it looks cool. I saw that they also have green, but I was hesitant to buy it as I don't know how my gecko would react to it.

Yeah, I didnt get a green one either, I just thought it was too unnatural
looking.

Geckos can't see red. If you were to use the moonlight bulb one night and observe, then switch to the red bulb the next night, you'll notice for the most part that your geckos will be more active with the red bulb. I use the red party bulbs from Home Depot for like $4. Been using them for years.

I've heard the "geckos can't see red" thing a few times, but I'm not sure if that's true. My boyfriend made a little red LED light for us to see into the tank at night, but wen it shines near him he flinches and hides.
