Nonstop digging

Well i used papertowls in my gecko's cage and one day he found out he could get under them, now he will not stop going under them, i finialy got fed up with it so i up cage carpet in thinking that he couldent get under it if i weighted it down, but he always finds away, anyone know how to stop this?

I understand the whole "use tile" argument ... but if your gecko likes burrowing, why not just let him do it?

I have a moist hide with moss, But the problem is im afrade he might suffacate or get too hot under the papertowps because i have a heat lamp and a uth, his cage is constently around 90 on the war side.

nah two of my females go under theirs all the time and always get out. that moss is lite even to them.

Lmao! Kiya used to try to eat the paper towel. Haha, I changed Ares to tiling. I find it easier to clean, more visually appealing, and it also holds heat well.
