as far as the dubia feeders and such im not sure about any of that my leo is still about 4 weeks and i only feed it small crickets and mealworms, and boy does she love mealworms:)
but yea theres nothing wrong with homemade setups it just makes me laugh when i see what people are using lmao but im about to make a double lair hide where its on the whole side of my tank its seperated in the center so i can make one side humid and one dry its going to be climbable and everything multiple exits and the best part is it goes against the glass to the glass acts as the wall and u can see into it, AND ITS SO SIMPLE u just form it with styrofoam then cover it with grout

i set it up that way so the 2 geckos would have opposite sides of the tank to hang out in in case one of the eats some taco bell and gets the farts! ;)

Actually, just to give them options to be away from eachother!

yeah, got the divider ready in case puberty hits and whe doesn't think he's cute enough or he farts too much!;)

this way i figure they have many different areas of heat instead of 2! Just a thought, i may be wrong as usual!

Just put a large enough heat pad in the center of the bin(well, under it) so that it warms the interior half of both sections, then the extirior sides will be the cool sides.

Thats what i did, it covers about 1/3 of both sides with temps floating around 92-94 near the center to about 85-88 in the middle of each side, down to about 75 at each end!
