Not eating but tail still fat.

So when I got the little guy in early december he didnt eat for a week or so (as he was getting adjusted). After that he had a pretty good appetite he'd eat 6-8 gutloaded meal worms a day, with the occasional crickets every couple weeks. He even started eating out of his mealworm dish at night so I was really happy. Well I got a bunch of crickets a few months ago and tried to feed them to him. he ate them the first day really excited and worked up over them. but then wouldnt eat them the next few days. after that he would still eat meal worms but not out of the dish.

I have been feeding him meal worms and supers by dropping them in front of him, and he was eating fine but less than he used to. I bumped him up to a 20 gal tank recently and he ate one or 2 times (every couple days). But for 2 weeks he showed zero interest in food. He is really active, likes to climb and roam around, especially if I am by the tank. But he wont even look twice at ANYthing I put in there. I have a lot of variety and he wont touch any of it (I breed mealies, superworms, turkistan roaches (the same size as crickets), have crickets too). So I dont think he is just sick of worms.

One problem might have been he didnt have a background on his 20 gal when i put him in for 2 weeks, I just put a makeshift black construction paper one up last night though. Maybe he was stressed getting into the new tank and having no background? (I was trying to get a cool background online).

After about 3 weeks of no eating whatsoever I fed him 2 nights of reptaaid. The third night he ate crickets, then he ate crickets the day after that, but again now he wont look at ANYTHING I offer it (havent tried wax or horn worms though). To make it worse I just moved him and me into my new place 2 weeks ago (like 5 days after he wouldnt eat crickets anymore). So either he is still stressed from the move or he is back to not eating. He likes to be picked up and he is very active. His tail is not skinny in the least and he urates frequently. I dont understand whats going on here.

Thanks for reading all that here is the necessary info:

He is still under a year old, he was born september 2007.
He got really fat but has lost some tail weight since he stopped eating (though it is still really healthy looking it was just real big before)
He is is a 20 gal, on big 12 inch tiles as substrate, has a warm hide, a humid in the middle, and a big climbing tree he can hide under on the cool side.
water bowl filled at all times on the cold side. temp is 90-92 on the warm side and controlled by a thermostat. Heat is provided by a uth on about 2/3 of the tank floor. and during the day a red party like 25 watts. (92 during the day, 89ish all night when the lights off).

They can be very mysterious creatures. Many of my hatchlings, when they hit 25 grams or so just slow down a lot on eating. I don't know where you live, but around October, a lot of mine also lose interest. It could be stress, it could be size and possibly, but not necessarily, it may be illness. If you're really concerned about illness, you could make an appointment with the vet. If you don't mind the possibilitiy that you may be hand feeding indefinitely, keep dropping the mealworms in front of him but if you don't want to do that, put them in the bowl and wait him out. Try not to let his stress make you too stressed.

I dont mind dropping in front of him, but he still shows zero response to that method now.
