DO you watch them all eat? If so then I would think you would be able to tell if they catch a cricket. Also, count how many superworms are in the dish, then come back and count them again. That will tell you how many were eaten. It is perfectly natural that they do not eat the first few days to a week of being with you. They have to get used to their new environment and settle in.

if you had them shipped to you the geckos could be stressed.

most of the time they will settle down in a week or so and then

they will be ready to eat. if you feed them mealworms put some in

a dish in the inclosure and when they are ready they will eat. if you feed

crickets give them one or two and observe to make sure they eat, if not

remove the uneaten crickets, they will munch on poo and possibly your gecko.

Aj, the dishes that I use for my adults are about 2 inches tall. They are clear, so the geckos can see the worms moving. IF they have have taken the crix that is good. They just need some time to acclimate to their new home. :main_yes:

Here are some pictures of a few of the dishes I use. The smaller dishes are for smaller geckos, bigger dishes for adults.

Adults can take a long time to settle in. I would say on average, it's taken most of the adult leos we've gotten at least 3 weeks to start eating normally. Some have even taken up to 6 months. You might try feeding regular mealworms instead of superworms also.

I agree with Mel and Keith. :main_yes:

BTW, Jeremy, where do you buy your food dishes? I really like those.........and I'll bet you don't have many escaped worms.........:main_yes:

All of those dishes come from wal mart.
The ones on the left are tealight candle holders and they are glass. They were .50 each. Found by the candle stuff.lol

The ones on the right are condiment cups, they are used to hold a side of ketchup or mayo or what ever. They were in the kitchen supply area. They are plastic. The smaller ones I use for mealies and they are .50 each. The larger I use for super worms and they were .75 each.

Ooooh, I always like a deal.........

Thanks for sharing, Jeremy. Off to Wallyworld I go..........

The dishes I use are big and cumbersome, so I'm excited to be able to cut down a bit on their size. :D
