Hi !!! My leo is 2 months old. She usually eats like a champ. She consumes between 10-12 mealworms every 24hrs. However for the last 48 hrs. She has eaten nothing. Still pooping just hasnt eaten. The floor temps in the cage are perfect. I use a thermostat and a PE-2 to verify every day.Cage temps have risen about 10° on both sides of tank but air temps still below 87°. The temps in my basement have risen about the same. Is it normal for eating habits to slow during extremely hot weather??? It has been about 105° for the last 2 days.

How much does she weigh? They get to a point at 25 grams or so where they're not as hungry. Another sign in my opinion is when they start pooping once a day instead of 3-4 times a day.

Unplug the UTH for a few days. I did that with my babies yesterday. It's simply too hot! We don't want floor temps to reach 105-115F. When the air gets colder, we can plug them in again. It also says in the instruction manual of the UTH's not to use them when the air gets over 80F :main_yes:

Also, Marzie's water will become too hot, probably. I exchange water twice daily right now. My babies still eat, but they all cram in the cool hide and are more lethargic than on normal days during the heat wave... guess they feel that, too :main_laugh:

Not sure of her weight. She wont let me touch her to weigh her. She always pooped once a day.
