odd hatchling...

This little guy really caught my eye last night!
I grabbed the camera as soon as I noticed him hatching...because he is NOT supposed to be anything but a normal patternless (or a Patternless Bell...if I could ever hit the odds).
I've hatched quite a few patternless to date and I've never seen one like this. Has anyone else??
He appears to have solid black eyes...but he's a bit small for me to be sure. No Mack Snow genes in his blood line...his mom was a double het Bell x Patty...and so was the dad. He went a few days past his due date...so I don't think the coloring is due to being "pre-mature". Of course, he could shed once and look completely normal!
I'll keep an eye on this one...

Wow Paul.
Congrats on this little cutie!
Of course you can see pattern on the back. But that's not the normal pattern of a Patternless hatchling.
As far as I can see it on the pictures it only has a row of spots running down the middle of his back.
I hope it stays that way for you! Keep us updated.
