Very cool, kind of reminds me of the one Steve Sykes hatched a couple of years ago. I believe it hatched from a bell and had solid black eyes as well.

I asked Steve about that and said he doesn't believe its Genetic

Wow look how dark it is... It must be a melanistic... LOL!!!
Paul, that is one awesomely unique hatchling... I hope it turns out to be something special and not just an odd colored hatchling... It would be nice to see a new morph this year instead of morph combos...

I was just going to ask about updated pictures but I see you're going to try to get them. I'd love to see how this one turns out. Nice and purpley.

I'm so sorry I haven't gotten a new picture up yet! My "real job" required a lot of me this past week/weekend...but now I'm caught up and will take a picture on my day off tomorrow.
He really hasn't changed much...lightened up a bit...looks more greyish, pale yellow and "translucent"...black eyes still appear solid. He's still so little and not growing fast....but he's steady ;) I think a few more weeks will be needed to see which direction he's really going to go...but, I will update the pics tomorrow...(I promise!)...lol
