I don't think I need solutions, just a little sympathy. This is generally the time of the year when I wonder if things are really going to work out with the breeding season. In all honesty, I have to say that I've wondered it every year for the past 5 years and it's always worked out, but this year seems unusually challenging:

--lost one leo breeder and one fat tail to unexplained death and illness
--had to retire my male SS; new male Mack snow won't be out of quarantine till week after next
--half my geckos are still not eating voluntarily, though they are not losing much weight
--the leopard geckos pretty much all seem to be ovulating, but no one is definitely gravid yet
--one of my leos has a hernia which has been getting bigger and bigger. She's already been to the vet once and is going back tomorrow. I'm afraid it's an egg that is in the wrong place and is getting too big to be laid. She is the daughter of the gecko that died mysteriously and I don't want to lose her too
--so far I've had 6 coleonyx eggs and 3 AFT eggs go bad (leaving me with 1 viable egg at the moment). Admittedly, the coleonyx female isn't in good shape and the AFT is a first-timer, but since I just upgraded to reptipro5000 and SIM, I'm getting a little nervous
--I've had one female coleonyx stop eating and waste away and now my breeding pair seems to be heading in the same direction with no logical explanation.

That's all for now; hopefully in the next few weeks things will look up.

Keep your head up.I've gone through some frustrating times too with my colony.Whenever I get down on myself questioning If I've done something wrong I know eventually with the help of the guy upstairs I know things will workout,Just like I know they will work out for you Aliza. When I get down I go to my reptile room and pick up my favorite leo and look at it in amazement.Sometimes I take my leos for granted.I'm fortunate to be able to afford to buy myself this fascinating creatures and I'm privledged to own 14 of them.. If all else fails BUY MORE GECKOS !!!! YAY. I know you'll be alright

I hope things get better soon.

I'm going through the same thing with the females ovulating, but not getting gravid. It's frustrating.:(
