One of my long-time dreams was realized today!! My green tree python arrived!!

This little girl was produced by Brandon Osborne. Her mom is a Jayapura type and her dad is an SCZ high yellow. She hatched in 2005. I could not be more excited!! :D

Here she is on arrival. I'll get some better pictures soon!

Thanks everyone!! :D

Her markings are very blue - a bit washed out in the pictures.

Shanti, I have noticed that too! Actually, I've always loved keeping snakes, but it's only recently that my non-snake-loving husband decided that it doesn't really matter what I keep in the gecko room as long is it lives in there. So, I quick picked up a couple of girls before he changed his mind!! :main_yes:

She's starting to venture out a bit - oh she's just to cute!

Lol, when you were talking about her at the NARBC show I didn't know she was THAT GORGEOUS! Amazing, I love her. Congrats on finally getting a snake, I find that eventually every snake-hater gives in or you find a way to sneak it!

Thanks everyone! I can't believe she's really here - I periodically remember, drop everything and just go look at her! :nice:

Robin, she hatched May 11, 2005. She is really mellow. I haven't actually removed her from her perch, but she's tolerant of me removing her perch and touching her. She hasn't shown interest in climbing onto me yet, though.

Here are a few new pictures of her:

Thanks Russ & David!

She is such a wonderful girl! She even takes her mice gently. I had her out the other day, I'll have to see if I got any decent pictures.
