I thought they was fighting, he bit her, then she bit him and they spent around in circles locked, I had to break it up, but they kept doing the tale shake at each other then I noticed she kept putting her tale up to him. She went into her hide and he followed but she nipped at him, after some nipping he went away but she had her tail up. He came back and went in and looked like the was doing the do but it was only for like 5 second. Where they dry humping or do I have something to worry about?

Why are a male and female living together if you're not prepared for them to breed? It only takes seconds for a lock-up. There's no such thing as dry humping in the reptile world.

Well because I didn't have time to finish my male enclosure with the big snow storm and all. And I didn't know they would even try to mate until they reached about 30-35g

For future reference, you shouldnt rely on weight to tell you about their maturity. Once the male gets his first little twitters of an urge, he'll go for it if there's a female around.

Are u sure u saw them mate?? From what u desribed it doesnt sound like mating though.Do u know what your looking for when they are mating.??

Calm down, don't scare him. These things happen. She'll likely lose a bit of weight but if he makes sure she has food at all times she will pull through just fine.

Females can actually start ovulating that small. And becoming gravid at that size can be dangerous. It's really unhealthy for a body that's still growing to expend so much energy and nutrients on forming eggs.

I feed them everyday, 2-3 crickets each and meali or supers all dusted with calcium. I also feed em waxworms 2x a week. They both weight 20g. I had the male in with the females because I beleived I had til they hit 30g to seperate them. I was gonna finish building my second cage this week but I'm in DC and everythings shut down.

She wont put on the needed amount of weight but still to try to get some weight on her would be better than not, if she will eat more I would feed her more when I got my rescue storm at 14g {2yrs old} she ate like 15 mealies in a sitting and about 5-10 crickets. offer her more wax worms they help bulk them up. hopefully she wasnt ovulating and if it was a short time togeher chances are she wasnt but you never kow and might a well take the actionos needed to help her now rather than wait and regret it.
