Rothsauce went about talking to people the propper way maybe you should take some note bc obviously your experience level with geckos is high but along the way you have forgoten about people. I will leave it at this bc i know like a typical female kristi must have the last word.

Wow did not just say to stop earlier. I'm sorry but this did not need to get to this exstream I simply wanted to know if anyone could tell me what she was. I'v had some kind of conversation with each of the mods involved in this and I'm sorry but I did not need a husbandry lesson. That is what is upseting yall don't think to ask before just going in to all of it. I know its yall job but it dosent make it any less insulting to some people. You can't just assume that we all need the basics shoved down our throats there are plenty of post about that on here. So I wish yall would just understand that. Everyone is so touchy about genetics witch is very important but I'm smart enough to know what not to mix. I was just willing to put in the time to test breed her. I have nothing else to do so I have the time. That seems to be wrong as well tho in yall eyes. Cause it muddies up the water. Well you know how do yall think we got as far as we have with geckos today. Its because some one took the time to muddy the water and get dirty. There will never be a pure world. I know there are breeders on here that have worked for years getting it right but that dose not give the right to just write off every gecko thats not to specs. I understand were yall are coming from I really do but this is ridiculous. As for my husband the bad language is unexceptionable but he was just trying to protect what I have built from nothing. Any wife on here can understand that. Now I think this has gone far enough a long time ago and I really don't see what can be learned from it but if you must keep it up than there is nothing I can do about it. I'm going to go on like none of this ever happen and I hope yall do the same.

Giving you tips on getting her weight up while breeding was not treating you like you know nothing. I'm sorry you got so offended by Lisa's post, but she was trying to be helpful. It's not just for you, but for anyone reading this.

As for your husband, it's never ok how he acted. I've been married for 13 years and my husband would never talk to a woman like that even if he was standing up for me. There is a right way and a wrong way to handle things and your husband handled it the wrong way. Disrespecting a mod is bad enough, but the way he talked about women was beyond wrong.

There were overreactions in this thread when all people were trying to do was offer helpful advice. That's how forums are. They're here to help and learn. If you don't want the advice, say thanks and move on. There was no need to make it such a big ordeal. I get advice from people all the time whether I ask for it or not. I'm usually polite and thank them. I don't need to follow it. I generally appreciate that they care enough to offer up some help.
