My Little leo shed a couple of nights ago and today her cool hide was moved and I noticed that this was there, what on earth is THAT!!
it's like all smeared down

If she didn't eat her shed
then I'm worried
She hasn't been eating, she doesn't even look interested in crickets, she isn't skinny, her tail is, and has always been thin, but she isn't thin.

From the picture it looks like some dirty shed skin...? She probably ate part of the skin, but not all of it. Mine do that from time to time.

I find it all the time in "Tiny's" cage, it seems he eats the feet part but nothing else. It looks just like the stuff i find in his cage and i know its shed. No worries

Even when they eat a little skin it can cause them to not have such a "vivacious" appetite :) No worries, as long as there is nothing going on she should be back to normal come tomorrow.

Just a side note, I have noticed that if their shed skin falls to the ground before they eat it, then they have no interest in it all. It's like they only like it "fresh" and straight off of their body.

Glad that she is eating and everything is fine :)

i am so glad she is eating again bc i was reading in a pretty good gecko book that regurgitated shed is a common early sign of crypto but it usually accompanies weight loss and dramatically decreased appetite...plus it doesnt really look regurgitated to me. so i say no worries unless you see those other two symptoms.

Today I only got her to eat 2 crickets :( I'm going to try and feed her now, see if she won't eat for me.
I really need to get a scale to make sure she ISN'T loosing weight, but from looks of it she seems normal weight as always, a little thiner due to the fact of not eating 8 crickets everyday

OH and her colors have gotten REALLY bright

Today she only ate 1 and she has this deeep blue spot linish thing acrossed her stomach almost like someone took a dry erase marker and marked her stomach

What does it look like when they ovulate
Do they stop eating if they are ovulating
How young can they ovulate
What age do they start eating every other day and in less amounts?

actually she doesn't even move my scale (it's a KG scale, lol my bad, but if she weighed even 25 g it would show on the scale (it goes up by those increments) but it's not. If she was of weight I'd say SURE lets have at it, but unfortunantly no.

She is 7 or 8 months

let's see, I got her at the beginning of august and she was about 5 months then. August-september 6 months september to october 7 months october to november 6 months

So she is like 7 and a half months old
