Fortunately the hide is 1 inch tall small for him to jump and get out. I have absolutely no idea what to do. He literally just went missing. Like 1 minute he was there and now he's just.....gone.I once had a gecko escape where the cage top was open about 2" but there was nothing for it to climb on to get out. So there's no corner or piece of furniture he could be wedged into? Some of the hides have twisty corners. I'm including the link to an article from Gecko Time about finding lost geckos. I've had a pretty good track record of finding geckos, once after 2 years!

Your Gecko Escaped, Huh? Keeping positive about finding him/her is a must. Think about it like this: you do not have to find a lost gecko, simply find its hiding place. They can go a good while without food and water. Most are found quickly but I've heard of one appearing eight months later. Morewww.geckotime.com
