So I wrote a HUGE update on me, and GF kicked me off and I lost the whole thing.
Here's the short version.
I have the deposition for my wreck tomorrow, so I came here to re-read what I wrote. I'm glad it's there! I hope to scare the pants off them so they'll make me an offer and we can just get this over with.
My arm is generally OK, unless I do repetative movements.
I'm over the whole pancreatitis episode, but I'm having other health problems. I'm on treatment for hypothyroid and high blood pressure (cause by undiagnosed hypothyroidism). Currently, they're looking to see if I have thyroid cancer and/or autoimmune hypothyroid. I likely have one of them because I've developed a goiter with nodules. If it were cancer (not likely), it's considered 99% curable because of my age.
Cadence is super. She's very tall for her age, and very smart. So far, no terrible twos, and I hope it stays that way.
I'm still the resident non-breeding breeder. For awhile I wasn't in a great place mentally and was seriously considering getting rid of all my geckos. Now, I'm thinking of adopting out some of my rescues/non-blings to lighten the load. I enjoy them, so I don't think I'd really get out of geckos totally.
And now, for the BIG news - we're having a frog!
Meet Cameron #2, due in late January 09. I'm not joking about the pic...the baby really did look like that at 7 1/2 weeks. Currently, I'm 11 1/2 weeks, and very nervous. I was going to wait til after my next ultrasound to tell everyone, so it would look like a baby and not a frog, but since I was posting anyway I thougt I should just do it. When we started treatment for my hypothyroid, it also corrected the fertility problems I was having. I'm considered high-risk, but we've past the hard part already. I'm at a higher risk of several complications, but things are looking good. :main_thumbsup:
Here's Cadence, cuz I know you'll ask!
