Definitely separate them. This is why I don't house geckos together...not saying you did something terribly wrong, because a lot of people do, but this is just one reason I do not. I really hope it doesn't fall off! Good luck :)

It doesnt look terrible deep, she should be fine. I would just leave it alone for now, just make sure she is in a VERY clean cage, so nothing gets infected. Untill it heals I would only use paper towel as a substrate, even in the humid hide (if you dont already). I would think that rubbing neosporin (sp?) on her tail would cause her to freak out even more, possible causing her to shed off the entire tail.

they are only together right now because she is ovulating and they were not together until she started to ovulate and i put him and her together yesterday to breed...

Well I am very sorry it happened Dani...sometimes they just get overstressed, or they are over aggressive and this happens. Just be sure to keep her calm, and separated from him :)

DO NOT PUT ANYTHING ON IT!!!! Leave the gecko alone... By messing with it, you will only stress it out more and it can fully drop the tail...

I agree, that leo has had enough stress already, just keep the tank
clean, and let nature take it's course.
Your pics arent so good, but I think the gecko will be fine.
