The first one's MBD isn't that bad and it's small enough to reverse it, just requires getting some liquid calcium and hand feeding it to him for a month or so, probably .2 ml per day, no biggie really.

I agree. That gecko does have a chance to come back if it will still eat. With proper care one that young could return to almost normal rather quickly. However, paying for it would be a bad idea. If they keep it, and don't treat it, it's going to die, no doubt about it. But it's not a write off just yet, imo.
