I've seen some posts in the last few days for fun activities for your gecko to do outside the cage, or "gecko-size", excersize for geckos. I was thinking that it would be nice if everyone put what they do with their Leos in one thread. I'll start.
Cardboard house(supervision requirement: a LOT:main_rolleyes:): Get some cardboard boxes, and make a sort of tunnel/houses out of them, for your Leo to explore. Make sure you watch your Leo at all times, or they can escape.

Some of them like sitting on my should or lap; I also take them and walk around the house, and near the window, so they can look around. :)

There's also the thing with putting a pile of blankets onto the bed and letting your Leo explore that. That one's pretty fun to do, and another one that I've only done with Dusty is putting them outside, letting them run through the grass and everything:main_thumbsup:. He gets a bath after though:main_laugh:.

My first Gecko Sam likes to sit on my shoulder at all times. I'm really careful when I'm walking with him, but even if I'm just holding him in my hands he'll dart up my chest and sit on my shoulder while I do just about any/everything.

I have had this idea but have not done it yet although I have all the supplies, making a mini playground. I have a 28 quart tote (storage box) that I want to fill about 2" high with cement, when the cement is about to set I have some plastic plants and stones that I will place in it along with pieces of wood for the sides. If I want tunnels I was planning on using pvc pipe... but nothing too intricate to where I cant access them to get them out when I need to. It is high enough for them not to get out and I can use it inside or take it outside. Sometimes my geckos are content just being in a different environment... I have all this in my trunk waiting to be done... maybe on my next day off I will attempt to mix concrete for the first time!! lol can't wait

Wow Kelly, lol I've been making some "playgrounds" for my Leos before, but never thought of tunnels and stuff....thanks for the idea! And SonicKuz, I haven't heard of External landings and all of that, can it be found at any Pet stores?(won't name any because of the TOS).

I let my leo roam around my room and kind of make it like an obsticle course they have to mostly climb over. this requires a bit of supervision and blocking of spaces though.
