Thank you all. My daughter loves her birthday present. She keeps calling her a boy though. LOL.

wow she's so big! but still a cutie. we tried to find a pup with the white face and front body, but couldn't find one in our area that was a female.

Yeah I know she's big for going on 12 weeks of age. Her mommy was 77 lbs and daddy was 40 lbs. Looks like she's going to take after momma.

That's a darn good question. I have no clue. Her breeder's sight is www.hogdogkennel.com. Her mom was Barron/Hog Dog's "Blue Bounce" and dad was CeCe's "Joker". I'm still learning about generations and lines. Sorry.

Yea I know how it is. I went to their site, and saw some of them at the top. I've heard of Watchdog and Carver, but not the other ones. The Alligator one may be Gator, I dunno... I was just curious.

I think that mama's god watchdog in her, and daddy's got carver... I haven't heard of the other lines.

That's right, she is a mix of carver, watchdog and I think Gator lines. I remember my friend bragging that it's one of the best combos you want to have because of their conformation, temperment and health stability. I don't remember what the ratios were, but I do remember him bragging about it a bit. He does mainly conformation with his dogs and I think his friend that co-owns the kennel handles the weight-pull. My friend's wife actually helps train them and has taken two of the pits to CGC. I'm hoping that will be my goal seeing how she responds to training classes. I was hoping for conformation competitions, but she is missing one toe on her back foot. I don't think that will allow her to compete there.

I actually found out the lines. Mom was Watchdog. Dad was Mason champion hogxcarver cross.

CGC? Canine Good Citizen? The testing before a dog can be pet therapy certified? Just wanting to make sure that we're talking about the same thing. Cuz my mom's St. Bernard/ Collie is CGC certified.
