Online adventure game.

Anyone here a mem of runescape? Well, I tried runescape and liked it but i don't really don't want to pay a monthly fee to become a member. does anyone know of a similar game that is either free, or has a set price? (hopefuly an online one set in the middle ages. I know i'm a dork.)

Wordl of warcraft get expensive and is addicting. my little sister plays it all the time she is going to have big with drawls when the baby comes next month. there wer also a few guys in my college program that play it when every a new update came out they would not show up to classes for a week or two.

My boyfriend and I play Final Fantasy XI. We've been playing for about 4 and a half years. =) It's even how we met! lol.

I also play FlyFF. It's a small free game. It's pretty fun. =)

:main_laugh: I played that when it first came out and for a few years afterwards.. SOOO addicting! I ended up getting really frustrated with people cheating, over-camping (Farming and Notorious Monsters, I think they were called? So hard to get them!). Not to mention, I was determined to be a Dragoon and it wasn't the best 'job' of them all. :main_rolleyes:

Oh, I could go on and on.. I'm such a dork.

Unfortunately I stopped getting my 'fix' when we moved to my current home, so far out that all we can get is satellite internet.. And, well, you can't run a huge game like that on such a connection.

lol. My boyfriend has dragoon leveled. =) Along with a few other jobs.
The cheating has died down a lot in lower level aspects of the game. There are still cheaters and bots in "End Game" but I don't bother with that.
We're quite addicted. lol.

We're on Hades. =)
I was originally from Diabolos and he was originally from Quetzacoatl but we both switched when they created Hades/Remora a looong time ago. lol.

They made new servers, huh?

I remember just before I stopped playing that people were talking about server switches.

Yep. =) The made the new servers about 4 years ago. lol.
Now you pay $25 and you can switch to whatever server you want. lol.

Guild Wars was pretty and all but I couldn't get into the game mechanics. That and the time I played it they were having a pathfinding issue where you sometimes got stuck on a blade of grass. BLADE OF GRASS. Yes. It happened to me. lol

I used to play WoW. I miss it sometimes....but then my husband introduced me to Warhammer Online. I hate him for it. lol
