What do you guys think of feeding mealworms to hatchling leos? Why?

I feed only mealworms to my hatchlings for the following reasons:
--crickets move too fast for some of the more immature hatchlings
--the crickets would hide in the tile gaps in the hatchling enclosures that are tanks as opposed to tubs and will be hard to catch
--I often sell my geckos to novice gecko keepers who are more squeamish about feeding crickets than mealworms so this way the geckos are used to mealworms.
--it's worked for the past 5 years.

I've heard that meal worms can be harmful to hatchlings? Do you just feed them smaller meal worms?
They aren't harmful they're fine just a bunch of hysterical people saying that their exoskeleton causes impaction which isn't true. When choosing the size of feeders you should use your own discretion on what is appropriate for your leo.
