So I bought this guy a few months ago. I don't want to say that he was sold to me as something he isn't, but he doesn't look like any other that I have seen. He is enigma, that part is easy, and he is raptor because he has partial red eyes. I just don't know if he is snow or not... If I could get some opinions on what he is that would be great.

Thanks

It can be really hard to tell if an albino is mack snow, sometimes test breeding is the only way unless you saw it as a hatchling.

No I didn't see him as a hatchling. He just has so much color to him. All the others I have seen were white with orange saddles.

is he sold to you as a NOVA (enigma raptor). he may just be an enigma or albino enigma. the color in his eye could be coming from the enigma trait.

He was sold to me as a Enigma Raptor Snow. I don't have any pics of his eyes, he doesn't like the light much, but it is exactly like my raptors except not solid red. (partial snake eyes)

Is it bad manners to name who I got him from? I don't want to bad mouth someone when I can't be sure it isn't what I was told it was.

If it isn't a snow that would make it a nova and I haven't seen any that look like that either. I'm not claiming to know about these things. This is the most "complicated" morph I have owned.

Would the color of his spots be a characteristic to id him? The spots are the same color of the mack tremper in the morph guide (page 6 post 59). Then again depending on which pic you look at the mack gene doesn't seem to affect the black coloration very much or at all...

The hardest thing is know what a morph is sometimes but it doesn't look like a Dream even though I have seen some dark ones, just not that color before. It may just be a nova

I emailed the guy I got him from and he said he wasn't sure what the parents were but probably a mack raptor x nova cross. He also said that dreams go through some crazy color changes and that yellow is a common color for them.
In previous emails when I was talking to him about purchasing this gecko he stated that he did not have the parents but this gecko was from Mike Rekowski.
