I hatched out this Tangerine from a Tangerine to Snowglow pairing. I didnt notice anything out of the ordinary until I was doing a photo shoot and then looking at the pictures afterward. Take a look at this little ones eyes and tell me if there is something unusual or if anyone had seen this before.

I have never seen this before but I have not been breeding as long as some of you on this board. So I am hoping for some opinions.

I've only ever seen that in enigmas, but that gecko does not look like an enigma.. Keep him and do some test breeding, it would be awesome if you could have geckos with enigma eyes, but no enigma syndrome!

Those are some awesome looking eyes! I have become fascinating with the enigma so I might start stalking you if there is a chance it is enigma related (just a fair warning, haha).

So what exactly is an enigma eye? I have only read about its effect on color and spots.

Wow, cool!!! :main_cool3: You have something that has obviously never been there before :main_yes: A non-Enigma with beautiful Enigma eyes :main_thumbsup: :main_thumbsup: I would try to get more eggs from that pairing, incubate them for male and female, and breed those together.

This is so awesome! :main_rolleyes:

Definately no chance of enigma parents there as when I incubate, I incubate all clutches in their own delis and label them in the incubator that way no confusion :main_yes:

I will post pics up later tonight but the Male is a Snowglow from Gecko Genetics and a Tangerine from Tornado Bloodlines. Both are second year breeders and I did not notice anything in any of their offsprings last year but they were not bred together they were bred in other projects last year.
But I was thinking along the same lines enigmaish color to the eyes with no enigma genes!
