i have a male enigma het albino/het eclipse paired with female aptor what are all the out comes? also the same male to a tang het for albino female?thanks
I can't give you all the percentages and possibilities, but here is some information to help you figure it out yourself:
1. albino: since the male is het for albino, and the aptor female is albino, 50% of their offspring (statistically) will be albino and all the rest will be het for albino. The male het for albino crossed with the female het for albino will produce statistically 25% albinos. The others will have a 66% chance of being het for albino and there will be no way to tell except to breed them to an albino and see if any of the babies are albino.
2. tang: there will be tang influence in some of the babies but most likely not as much as in the tang parent
3. enigma: As I understand it, enigma is dominant, but I have heard that not all the babies are enigmas. You will have to check this out on the leopard gecko wiki
4. eclipse: I don't know that much about how the eclipse works, but based on what I've read, I would expect that there is a chance that some of the babies would display eclipse characteristics. Someone else will hopefully clarify this for you
5. aptor: the patternless stripe aspect of the aptor suggests that many of the babies will have reduced or absent body spotting. It is also possible that you'll get some stripes or jungles; stripe genetics aren't that well understood yet.
6. putting it all together: now you have to look at each pairing, review the results of each characteristic and figure out all the possible outcomes.
Good luck, have fun.
