Out of all the odds...

Six weeks ago my bearded dragon laid 28 eggs. She was bred successfully. 24 were infertile and went bad. Then she laid 19 eggs and 16 of them are infertile. So now i have 7 out of 47 eggs that are going to hatch.:main_angry: It kinda makes me mad because i was looking forward to the eggs hatching and i bought a lot of supplies.
Well i can go on and on about this but just wondering if anyone has had these odds or is it just a freak thing.

How old is she, and has she bred before? I am not a beardie breeding expert, but many first timers lay a lot of infertile eggs, so this may not be unusual.

She is 20 months old. First time breeding so this is probally true.

My first year breeding beardeds, I had a fist time female lay 3 clutches (62 eggs), last clutch 2 infertile. Out of the 60 futile eggs 60 hatched I don’t think I have ever spent so much money in my life… LOL!

After 4 years of beardeds I had enough with there smell and money =P

So I wouldn’t complain to much :main_rolleyes:.
