I do not know exactly are they giant or not, but base on the weight all of these 3 leos are over 100grams

My first over 100 is Raptor Male (he is 115grams)

Giant is a morph, but also a marketing morph in my opinion. We have plenty of 110+g geckos without having the Giant gene in it. Line breeding can get you the same result. Those look like a overall big geckos (length and weight) so I would call them a "Giant"...but don't know its what is being called the Genetic Giant or just a Giant gecko.

As I understand it, giant is not just weight but length. My Tremper male regularly reaches 116 grams but is only about 9" long so I don't consider him a giant.

I think true adult giants are more like 11+ inches, but that's just a guess since I don't own any.

Aliza

True adult Super Giant males will be 11+, females more like 10. Giants don't get all that much bigger/longer than non-giants, which is where a lot of confusion is happening. Simply put, weight means NOTHING, these geckos will be longer than average in the first year, and a super giant at one year old is going to be pretty obvious nearly every time. Normal non-giant geckos do not get as big at that age. It's like this: a 6' man may weigh 300 pounds, while a 6'6 man may also weigh 300 pounds. Which one do we call the giant? Weights are the worst thing that happened to this morph, and Ron's description has been constantly misinterpreted. He states that geckos "here", meaning in his facility, commonly reach those magical weights at one year. That doesn't mean it will hold true for every keeper, and certainly not for those of us that feed more conservatively. I think most geckos over 100 grams are too heavy, including young super giants.

And by the way rasak... those are really nice geckos!

Thanks Aliza n Keith for your info..

At first I did not know the Raptor was a giant, when he was 1 year old he looked bigger then others (same happened to MSThR) after his first offspring (MSThR) I had a feeling he would be giant. But I still want to run some test to make sure about it.

So for a GIANT, the length is 11+ for male and around 10 for female right?
