i dont think my females are ovulating.so how do i kno if they are or do i have to do cooling to make them ovulate.and also there 1 year and wat age do they ovulate?or they just ovulate at cooling season.
1. You can flip them over and look at their belly. An ovulating female will have one or two pink circles near the middle of her belly.
2. You don't have to cool them to get them to ovulate.
3. They ovulate when they're sexually mature (at around 9 months and above), toward the middle/end of the winter season. Most females will ovulate in early February, though some start sooner.
+1, There are also off season females which will ovulate either late in the season or early winter. I have a couple females that will only ovulate in November/December time frame. But most will fall on your typical spring time breeders.
