This is my male. The female is a bit camera shy.
These are stunning looking geckos IMO, with their striking black and white colouring and their spikey tails. They also remind me of aliens with their big black eyes :)

Very nice. Don't see many of these guys around, few people working with them. Very cool species, def the most colorful of the Parodura. I've seen lots of P. pictus, and a few P. bastardi, but never seen one of these in the flesh. I need to rectify that, haha.

Sweet! I am in love, going to add to my gecko want list.
They are definitely worth keeping and hopefully breeding them, I have seen some pics of wc ones brought in which looked very ill. So the more they can be captive bred the better :)

I agree they are the prettiest of the Parodura species IMO :main_yes:
I suppose to some people they are just a species of Parodura, but they are a gorgeous gecko. I am hoping to breed these, but it won't be till 2012 as mine are still young.

Brilliant looking geckos. Where are they native to? And, what kind of temperment to they have? I, too, would love some of these guys.

Thanks they are native to Madagascar. My female is a little more shy than the male, but both can be handled if need, but I don't handle them as much as - for instance my rhacs.

is it a p masobe?..those are nice
Yes they are Parodura Masobe, at the moment I know of only one other person in UK who keeps these, so they are pretty rare here at the moment :)
