Hi my names liam as you may or may not already know. Im from scotland and i have preperations to consider with my 56gallon (UK gallons) tank.

im going to be getting some little leo geckos in sept:) 3 females and 1 male.

As we all know some of us think we should seperate the leos until they are mature and all around the same size.

SO-

I was thinking of splitting up my tank with just some temporary acrylic dividers in my tank until then.

the question i have is... whats the minimum requirement sizes for single geckos on there own.

does it change from baby to adult? or is there a fair size where i could just keep fluant until there all grown to minimise distruption?

Any advise would be greatly appreciated

10g a leo is the rule, and i wouldnet put the male in with the females unless you intend to breed.

Yeah i understand 10g is the general rul of thumb andi will intend to breed at some point.

but i was hoping that there was minimum requirements by the INCH. so i can measure this out within the tank and then i could put dividers in?

Isnt it 16" long? just the width i didnt know.

Cheers.

The floorspace of a 10 gal tank is 20 inches by 10 inches. I don't know what the exact measurement of your tank is, but you can probably divide off a quarter for your male and keep the three girls together. They'll be fine together, but if you see one of them not eating then you might have to separate her out too. I hope that helps!
