petstores shouldnt keep reptiles

i went to petco today to buy a feeding dish and i looked at their leos and they have no idea how to take car of a leopard gecko the cage was some kinda sand with a heat lamp and a magnetic hide and like nothing else in there all the geckos looked sick and there was one in there that has obviously been dead for some time and its still in the cage. the picture is hard to see i took it with my phone and theres a glare but the bottom left is the poor little guy

CALL THE HOTLINE!!!!! That is INEXCUSEABLE and corporate won't let that continue like that if they know its happening.

This thread is now closed. I agree that these pet stores should not be allowed to keep the animals in the condition that some of them do, but GeckoForums is not the place for this type of discussion. I have been threatened with lawsuits on more than one occasion, and even though legally I cannot be held responsible for what others post here, that does not mean a lawsuit cannot be filed and frankly I don't have the time, money, or energy to deal with that.

These types of posts are more appropriate on the BOI over on http://faunaclassifieds.com. Thanks for understanding. Oh, BTW, I now have a censorship option in place so that when the words of the two major offending pet stores are typed here, asteriks are automatically used instead of letters. Just on case someone slips up (it happens to all of us!). Thanks again, Guys!
