Introducing our 2 new pink tongues and an update on our other 2.

We are hoping that we have at least one male. We are obviously looking forward to having some babies if possible.

I had no idea skinks ate snails. That's so cool!

Humphrey and Big Bird are eating like demons

We have been told that they will eat other stuff but they only like slugs and snails,
we have a few groups of snails set up but no eggs at the moment

Need more snails.

Where did you get your snails? I also saw mealworms in there, I read they are slug/snail eaters and don't eat other bugs. So it is cool to see yours eat mealies.

The eat the snails whole. Its pretty amazing how they do it, although can be a bit gross.

The snails are common garden snails. We have been told that they will eat lots of other foods, worms, locusts, crickets, mealworms as well as slugs and snails. We have tried all of them but they only really seem interested in the snails and slugs.

We are hoping our AFS are going to give us some eggs shortly, before we run out of them. Will need to dig the garden over looking for worms soon.

Ugh. You'll end up getting over run by snails lol. I'm not sure how long it takes them to grow, but snails breed faster than rats lol. Theres a baby food jello recipe you can make to feed them to, I used to keep them until they started to eat the plants in my planted tank.

Oops should've checked the last post, I'm not sure how fast the common garden snails breed... Can you feed them fresh water snails?
