Playing dead?

Was wondering if anyone had seen this behavior before:
I woke up around six this morning for work, and I look at my leo. He was on top of a hollowed log with an eye open, but wasn't moving and I couldn't tell if he was breathing. I poked him and even picked him up and he felt limp, but the moment I put him back down, he bolted into his hide. When I came back from work he was fine and climbed on to my hand like normal. He's never been afraid of me before. Any thoughts?

Well, if you were sleeping, and woke up all of a sudden on top of the statue of liberty you'd be pretty spooked, right? He'll get over it. They don't hold grudges.

Yea, eventhough the eyes were open, they're still in a sleeping state...

Yeah, I'd say he/she was sleeping. They even sleep standing up! I think its cool to catch them doing that.

Tiamat has done this to me before but I suspected she was just half asleep as she woke up when I put a worm in front of her nose. lol
