The mold usually forms when there are a lot of mealies in there... if there is a large amount of mealies close together (some bins have more worms depending on how long before I move the beetles..) it seems to get warmer in there and precipitation builds on the lid and sides of the container. If I do not see this and lift the lid off for a day then separate the worms into more containers.. mold can form. But when it does I dont use them... and the other 25 geckos arent sick like she is... I have no idea whatsoever... :main_huh:

I just remembered what could have caused the swelling!! The fecal I brought in was over a day old and the vet told me that some parasites may not live that long in the feces so I asked him to try and massage her to get a fresh sample. He said her could give her an enema. He brought out this long plastic cathater that was about 12 inches long- filled with water.... or saline. He flushed the liquid in her to try and get poo out and it did not work. When he did this I had to turn my head b/c I could not watch that... she was already in so much pain. Now I am wondering exactly how far did he push that inside her?????????? Is this a swollen organ????? Did I just pay the vet close to $200 to make her worse???????
Why didn't I watch him just to make sure he didnt hurt her????????
